Champagne Cocktails Such as Mimosas and Bellinis
***z-below-h1.shtml***
Champagne cocktails refer to drinks that use a type of sparkling wine, as their main
ingredient.
Note, however, that although only sparkling wine made in the region of Champagne,
France can be called such, the term champagne cocktails is an all-inclusive term used for any
drink made with sparkling wine.
Originally thought to have been invented by the monks, the drink usually involves a combination of
sparkling wine and sweet fruit such as peach, orange, strawberries, mangoes, etc.
There are a variety of cocktails made from sparkling wine, several of which I have listed below:
Most people either love or hate these types of sparkling wine based cocktails. To some individuals whom I will refer to as the
purists, champagne cocktail is frowned upon because people in this school believe that sparkling
wine should enjoyed on its own.
And while I do agree that you should drink your
Dom Perignon on its own, a little bit of
mixing to add a kick to your drink doesn't hurt.
I've included
detailed recipes on how to make the cocktails mentioned above.
Before you get
started, however, you may be wondering what type of organic sparkling wine to use. Fear not. I've
