Chocolate Espresso Martini
Besides the chocolate martini, the espresso martini is also one of my favorite martinis to make.
Its savory taste and aromatic qualities make this drink an extremely popular cocktail for men and
women alike.
By varying the ratio between the espresso and milk, you can make this cocktail as sweet or as bitter
as you want.
That's the beauty of this drink. And depending on how sweet or bitter you make this drink,
it can be paired with different dessert dishes or drank by itself as a stand-alone cocktail.
For
example, a drink that has stronger hints of espresso might go well with a chocolatey desert, while
a sweeter version will pair well with a fruit dish or enjoyed on its own.
The ingredients needed for the espresso martini are surprisingly few. They are: vanilla vodka,
espresso, and whole milk.
That's it.
You can add a few others. For instance, I add almond extracts
just for added flavor. Some add a little bit of chocolate for a mocha-flavored martini.
As mentioned in the other recipes, several of the ingredients that are harder to come by, such as
the organic vanilla vodka, can be made at home. Simply follow the steps on how to make
organic vanilla
vodka.
