Halloween Drink Recipes For Everyone

***z-below-h1.shtml***

Hosting a Halloween party worthy of Count Dracula himself? Why not use these Halloween Drink Recipes to add a little spice to your party by serving themed-cocktails?

Indulge in a Ghost Sunset Martini or brew a zesty Slime Berry Punch. Entertain the children with a kids-friendly, non-alcoholic Vampire Kiss or Jacko Lantern Smoothie.

Let your creative juices flow. There really is no limit to what concoctions you can come up with. Plus, many of these alcoholic recipes can be made into child-friendly drinks by simply witholding the liquor.

I've listed a few of my personal favorites below.

Halloween Drink Recipes

Ghost Sunset Martini - This cocktail is made from freshly-squeezed lemonade, organic vodka, lime juice, and a dash of grenadine. The heavier grenadine will sink to the bottom, leaving the lighter colored lemonade at the top and tinting the bottom half with red. This gives the cocktail a slightly layered effect, which resembles a bloody sunset, hence the name.

Slime Berry Punch - The Slime Berry Punch uses organic rum, cranberry and pineapple juice, and freshly crushed rasberries and strawberries. The end result is a sweet, yet healthy punch laced with vitamin c's and antioxidants. Be wary, though. The sweetness of the fruit flavors may mask the alcohol. Drink with moderation.

Jacko Lantern Smoothie - This one is one of my favorites. It calls for fresh pumpkin pulp, nutmeg, cinammon, and banana. Blend all of these ingredients in a blender with ice, and voila. You get a delicious pumpkin-flavored smoothie. You can serve this as is, or add organic rum or vodka to this to make a cocktail.

Vampire Kiss - The Vampire Kiss is a combination of organic tequila, lime juice, orange juice, honey, and rhubarb. The name stems from the dark, ruby red color derived from the sweet and tart rhubarb. Add enough of this, and you'll get a blood red concoction that'll tint your lips with red, hence the name.
