Vodka and Pineapple

Organic vodka and pineapple is a very easy-to-make drink.

It only involves two ingredients - vodka and pineapple. How hard could it be, right? You'd be surprised at just how many people order this sweet drink.

It's a much sweeter alternative to a Cape Codder or a Vodka and Soda or Vodka and Tonic, but because it doesn't contain any liquers or cordials, the sugar content in this is much lower compared to, say, a Sex on the Beach or a Long Island Iced Tea.

This drink is so commonplace, that a lot of people will ask for a "Goose and Pine," meaning a Grey Goose and Pineapple Juice or "Ciroc and Pine," which is Ciroc and Pineapple juice or "Ketel and Pine" meaning Ketel One and juice.

Being familiar with these phrases will help you and save you a lot of time when you're working at the bar.

What could make the drink better would be to use freshly prepared pineapple juice rather than the canned or boxed juice most grocery stores sell.

You or the customer, whoever is drinking the cocktail, will notice a huge difference in taste.

You can also spruce up the drink by adding a little bit of club soda or sprite, depending on how healthy you want to be. Doing so adds a little fizz and zest to the drink.

The addition of soda water may help especially if the juice is extremely sweet, which tends to happen a lot.
