Vodka and Soda

Vodka and Soda or Vodka and Tonic are two very commonplace drinks that are extremely easy to make.

As the name implies, the former consist of vodka and some type of carbonated beverage, be it club or sprite.

The latter drink is exactly what the name is: spirit drink that is topped off with a little bit of tonic water. It is a drink that is akin to the Gin and Tonic.

The drink is served in a highball glass and is garnished with either a lemon or a lime slice. It usually depends on the whims of the person ordering the drink.

You'll also get requests for flavored liquor and soda or sprite, such as Rasberry Stoli and sprite or Citron with soda. If you don't have Citron, just squeeze a few lemons into the liquor because that's basically what citron-flavored liquor is.

It might be more difficult to do with something like Rasberry Stoli unless you have free rasberry lying around the bar.

If you don't have the requested flavored liquor, try and improvise with whatever fruits or liquers you have in the bar.

Organic Vodka Soda

Ingredients

1 oz. of Organic Vodka
Soda water
Lemon Wedge

Directions

Fill a highball glass to the brim with ice
Pour 1 oz. of organic spirit into the glass
Top off with soda.
**You can also pour both the vodka and soda water into the glass simultaneously, which is what most bartenders do in order to save time.
Garnish with lemon or lime
Serve
