Organic Vodka Cranberry aka the Cape Codder

Vodka Cranberry is normally referred to as a Cape Codder, which alludes to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, one of the oldest places to have grown and harvested cranberries.

The drink is typically served in a highball glass, and is garnished with a lime. Vodka and cranberry (or Vodka and Cran, as some people like to refer to it) is quite popular, and is a very straight forward drink to make.

The Cape Codder is closely related to the Sea Breeze and Bay Breeze drinks since it serves as the base mixture - vodka and cranberry.

Vodka Cranberry can be a healthy choice thanks to the powerful nature of the antioxidants and vitamins contained in the cranberries.

Raw organic cranberries are a strong source of poyphenol antioxidants which have been associated with improving the immune system and preventing certain types of cancer.

Cranberry juice has also been known to help fight against bacterial infections in the urinary system by inhibiting bacteria from attaching to the bladder and urethra.

This is why cran juice is recommended as both a preventative and prescriptive method for people with UTIs.

Cranberries also are thought to contain certain molecular material that inhibit the formation of plaque that causes tooth decay.

It is also high in Vitamins A, K, C and fiber. Moreover, the drink lacks a lot of the sugar content that is seen in other fruity cocktails, making it a much healthier choice over most other drinks.
